The GZ team take on PAX Aus 2022!

What a ride!

After a two year hiatus, PAX returned to Australia with a HUGE celebratory weekend of gaming and pop culture. Back at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, PAX Aus 2022 featured thought-provoking panels, an expo hall filled with publishers and independent studios, game demos, musical performances, and tournaments, delivering an incredible experience.

The Ground Zero Gaming family were there across the weekend, engaging with fans, supporting our partners, and debuting our new Rocket League roster.

Who did you spot over the weekend?

Ground Zero content creators SonnyMovement, Kelosaurus, LilTrouble, NuggieD, Challenged and PavlovaFace were out and about at PAX, supporting our partners Logitech and Bluemouth at their booths. There were games, fun, and a little bit of mischief as the crew entertained the crowds.

On Saturday, Ground Zero’s new Rocket League roster put in an incredible performance to place second at the JBL Grandslam; and on Sunday, Ground Zero commander-in-chief Beau Melia took to the panel 'Jobs in esports’ to share his experience building our humble organisation from the ground up.

It was an epic weekend and we’re SO EXCITED to do it all again in 2023!
