Ground Zero Gaming qualifies for the RLCS Winter Major in San Diego

San Diego, here we come! We’re excited to confirm that we'll be taking on the world’s best at the RLCS Winter Major in San Diego, California in early April.

Forming as a new roster at the start of the year, the Ground Zero Rocket League team features home-grown talent Josh 'kaka' Watters, Ezequiel 'Fiberr' Aranda-Lovito, and Lachlan 'Superlachie' Gordon. The team have outperformed the strongest of competitors in Oceania to win both the Winter Open and Winter Cup, earning us enough points to secure our spot in the RLCS Winter Major, with a whopping $310,000 USD up for grabs.

But before we head to San Diego, we're fighting it out this weekend in the Winter Invitational, where we're currently in the top 8. This tournament is another opportunity for the team to hone our skills and build credibility as a serious contender on the global stage.

So, #GZRL fans, get ready for some seriously epic gameplay and some seriously Aussie vibes over in sunny San Diego. We're ready to take on the world, and we're excited to take you all along for the ride.

Keep an eye on our socials to catch all the action. Let's go, #GZPZ!
