Ground Zero Gaming partners with Disability Sport & Recreation to launch Rocket League program

We’re proud to announce our partnership with Disability Sport & Recreation to launch an inclusive online gaming pilot program for Rocket League. This innovative initiative aims to create a more inclusive and accessible gaming environment for individuals with disabilities and promote the power of gaming to transcend physical limitations.

A Game-Changing Collaboration

The partnership between Ground Zero Gaming and Disability Sport & Recreation brings together the expertise of both organisations to design and implement an engaging online gaming program specially tailored for players with disabilities. This exciting collaboration seeks to break barriers and create opportunities for individuals to showcase their talents in Rocket League.

The online gaming pilot program will feature a range of initiatives including workshops, custom matches, and an 8-week competitive league.

Important information

  • Entry - This program is open to players of the age group 15+ to either play or watch and learn as part of the community in Australia and New Zealand

  • Ability - It is open to all - From zero previous experience to expert level

  • Equipment - Rocket League is a free-to-play game on PC, Playstation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch

  • Discord - join the DSR Discord here

  • Preparation - Workshops & Customs will begin from May 15th

  • One-Day Event - Skill level and grading assessment of the players interested from May 22nd

  • League Competition - The League is over 8 weeks and will commence from May 29th onwards
